Responding to and configuring alarms in OpenBMCS: the alarm dashboard and its five bell states, the acknowledge-resolve-comment loop, bulk actions, alarm history as evidence, editing and creating alarms (boolean, range, enum and history-summary), folders and templates, and notification routing by email, SMS and pager. Recording and reading trends in OpenBMCS: what a history is, reading a graph and its excursion shapes, time ranges, exporting images, PDF and full-resolution CSV, creating and editing trends, templates that propagate, editing history values with a recoverable bin, and the unattended cleanup that permanently deletes trend data. Reading and operating the Programming module — the visual wiresheet onto a Sedona controller's live logic. What blocks, slots, links and live values are; navigating the controller and object trees, the minimap and the Points List; reading data types and config-versus-wired slots; the polling that keeps the sheet current; the read-only Flow View; changing a single slot value with the two-stage live-edit-then-Save-to-flash persist; and an honest map of the buttons that are view-only or not yet finished.
